Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has backed the Gunners to win the Premier League title for the 2024/25 season. Despite Manchester City being the bookmakers’ favorites to secure another championship, Parlour believes Arsenal has a strong chance.
Arsenal, who finished second behind Manchester City for the past two seasons, will start the new season on August 16.
Speaking on talkSPORT (via TBR), Parlour said, “It’s got to be Man City as favorites for the title, but I think Arsenal have an excellent chance to win it.
The bookmakers will have Man City as favorites to win five in a row. However, I’m going with Arsenal to win it, even though they won’t be the favorites at the start of the season.”
