Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has committed to resolving the team’s ongoing goal-scoring issues.
In their recent match on Sunday, October 14, the Oluyole Warriors played to a disappointing 0-0 draw against Enyimba at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan. This season, the Ibadan club has managed to score only three goals in six league matches.
Ogunbote expressed his frustration over the team’s inability to convert chances created during the game against the People’s Elephants. “This is a big challenge for us. Our inability to take risks has contributed to this; if we had taken enough risks in this game, we would have been able to get something, but it’s a continuous thing,” he stated in an interview with the club’s media.
He emphasized the need for continued training to instill the team’s philosophy and improve their performance.
