North-West APC youth frontiers defend Zamfara lawmaker against anti-party allegations

A support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), the North-West APC Youth Frontiers, has dismissed allegations of anti-party activities against Rep. Sani Aminu Jaji, describing the claims as unfounded and politically motivated.
Rep. Jaji, who represents the Kauran Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, was recently accused by some party members of working against APC interests. In response, the youth group, through its Coordinator Malam Danladi Cika, said the allegations were a deliberate attempt to smear the lawmaker’s reputation and undermine his political standing.
Cika described Jaji as a formidable legislator and a key figure in strengthening the APC during the 2023 general elections, not only in Zamfara State but across the North-West and nationally. He highlighted Jaji’s extensive engagement with stakeholders, including religious leaders, Islamic organizations in Kaduna, the Arewa Farmers Association, student unions, and the Northern Christian Political Forum, all in support of APC’s electoral success.
The statement also cited Jaji’s role as Director of Contact and Mobilisation for the APC in the North-West and as a presidential return agent during the elections as evidence of his loyalty and commitment to the party. Cika added that the lawmaker’s philanthropic activities across Zamfara and other states further underscore his dedication to public service.
Dismissing the allegations, Cika referred to their originators as “failed political opportunists” who could not deliver results even in their own constituencies. The North-West APC Youth Frontiers reaffirmed its full support for Rep. Jaji and pledged continued loyalty to the APC leadership at all levels, urging members to remain united ahead of future political engagements.
