Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta loses son

Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta, has announced the death of his son, marking another devastating loss for the 54-year-old film star.
Chatta shared the news on Saturday in an Instagram post where he uploaded a picture of his late son. He did not disclose details about the circumstances of the death but captioned the post with the Islamic prayer, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, Dear Godson, champ.”
The actor, who is widely known for his roles in Yoruba films, had earlier in June recalled the painful memory of losing his first child, a daughter, many years ago. He revealed that financial hardship prevented him from affording proper medical care at the time, which ultimately led to her death.
Chatta also recounted that his lack of money forced him to bury the girl in an old wooden Coca-Cola crate, a story that touched many of his fans and colleagues in the Nigerian film industry.
Condolences have begun to pour in from fans and fellow actors, though the family has yet to release further details about funeral arrangements.
