A Kanye West concert scheduled to take place in Poland has been cancelled following backlash over alleged antisemitic remarks by the US rapper.
The event, billed for June 19, 2026, at the Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium, was called off by the venue on Friday, citing formal and legal reasons.
Venue director Adam Strzyzewski announced the decision in a statement published on the stadium’s website, confirming that the performance would no longer hold as planned.
The cancellation follows growing criticism in Poland over the rapper’s past comments, which have been widely condemned as antisemitic.
Earlier, Poland’s culture ministry had indicated it was considering measures to prevent the artist from performing in the country, according to a statement received by AFP.
