On Monday, November 11, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made an important move to get ready for the upcoming Ondo State governorship election.
The commission delivered all the sensitive election materials needed for the big vote, which is happening on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
INEC shared the news on their official social media account, saying the materials were safely brought to Akure, the capital of Ondo State, by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF). Once they arrived, officials from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) took charge of the materials.
The post from INEC read, “Sensitive materials for the Ondo State governorship election, scheduled for Saturday, 16th November 2024, have arrived in Akure, the state capital, and have been received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria. The materials were conveyed to Akure by the Nigerian Air Force.”
With just a few days to go, all eyes are on Ondo as the state prepares for its important election.
