ID Cabasa says secular music industry is not owned by the devil

Veteran music producer and executive ID Cabasa has sent a strong message to Christian creatives regarding their place in the secular music industry. The Coded Tunes boss debunked the age-old claim that the secular space is “ungodly” or owned by the devil.

He argued that these misconceptions are part of an agenda to keep talented Christians away from mainstream influence. Cabasa urged artists to stop shying away from the industry and start taking their rightful place.

Debunking the lie of the devil’s ownership

Writing on his X handle, the legendary producer clarified that while the devil may own sin, he does not own the earth or the arts. He reminded his followers that the earth and everything in it belongs to a higher power.

“There’s an agenda to dissuade you from taking that space with a lie that the devil owns that space,” he noted. He encouraged believers to bring their talent to the secular world to serve as a positive influence.

Shining a light in the entertainment industry

ID Cabasa stressed that the prevalence of evil in certain spaces is due to a shortage of light rather than the strength of darkness. He assured Christian creatives that their presence is necessary to change the narrative of the industry.

He concluded by telling his followers that no amount of evil can trump the light they carry into the secular space. The music executive continues to be a vocal advocate for professionalism and spiritual balance in the Nigerian entertainment scene.
