Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa, has revealed she cannot date Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy, despite admitting she admires him greatly.
In a trending video circulating on social media, Uriel explained that her decision is rooted in self-awareness, stating that she knows her limits and what she brings to the table.
“I can’t date Burna Boy, I will only want to cook for him because I don’t have the liver,” she said.
Uriel emphasized that if she ever enters a romantic relationship, it must be monogamous, without drama or competition—something she believes would be difficult given Burna Boy’s fame and dating history.
“He will make me cry. I can’t compete with other women like Chloe Bailey or Stefflon Don. I’m just a simple person. The only thing I can offer him is home-cooked food,” she added.
The reality star also shared her desire to settle down within the next two years but said it has to be with the right person at the right time.
Burna Boy, born Damini Ogulu, has had several high-profile relationships. He most recently dated American singer Chloe Bailey, with their relationship ending controversially shortly after it was confirmed in February 2025. Prior to that, he was in a relationship with British rapper Stefflon Don from 2018 to 2022 and was also linked to Jamaican singer Jada Kingdom in 2023.
