Guardiola hopes Sterling doesn’t shine against Man City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola expressed his hopes that Raheem Sterling won’t perform well for Arsenal when the two teams meet on Sunday.

In a highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash, Arsenal will visit City, who remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season. Sterling, who joined Arsenal on a season-long loan deal on deadline day, is set to face his former club.

Guardiola stated, “For all the players who behaved unbelievably in this club, who helped us to be who we are and where we are. We could not have done the first years of my tenure without Raheem.

“I would prefer he didn’t play well on Sunday, but I wish him all the best.”
