Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga Agboola appointed jury member for inaugural Money20/20 Awards

Flutterwave Founder and CEO, Olugbenga “GB” Agboola, has been appointed as a jury member for the Payments Award category at the inaugural Money20/20 Awards, a prestigious global platform that celebrates excellence in fintech and financial services.

Agboola’s inclusion on the jury highlights the growing recognition of African influence in the global payments industry. He joins a distinguished panel of global payments leaders, including top executives from Mastercard, Adyen, Stripe, GCash, Checkout.com, Nium, and Global Payments Inc.

Organizers of Money20/20 praised the panel as composed of “global experts” from “the biggest names in the game,” equipped with “sharp eyes, high standards, and a serious flair for spotting brilliance.” Winners will be unveiled during a live ceremony at the Money20/20 USA event in Las Vegas this October.

This appointment comes on the heels of Agboola’s recent addition to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art Advisory Board  a role Flutterwave says reflects his commitment to promoting African excellence on a global scale.

Agboola also serves as the Vice Chair of the US-Africa Business Center Board and represents Flutterwave in influential bodies such as the Milken Institute’s Africa Leaders Business Council, cementing his role as a prominent voice at the intersection of finance, technology, and global development.
