Nigerian champions Edo Queens have strengthened their squad with 14 new players as they gear up for the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifier in Cote d’Ivoire from August 10 to 23, 2024.
The new signings are expected to bolster the team’s chances in Group B, where they will face Omnisports Etincelle FC of Burkina Faso, Ghana’s Hassacas Ladies, and AS Garde Nationale of Niger.
Edo Queens’ group stage schedule includes matches against Etincelle on August 11, Hassacas Ladies on August 14, and AS Garde on August 17, all to be played at the Champroux Stadium.
With their preparations underway in Uzuaire, Edo State, under the guidance of coach Moses Adukwu, the team is poised for a strong showing in the competition.
