Dwight Yorke urges Chelsea to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, calls him the missing piece up front

On Tuesday, May 27, Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke publicly urged Chelsea to sign Cristiano Ronaldo during the upcoming summer transfer window, insisting the veteran striker remains superior to Chelsea’s current attackers and can still perform at the highest level.
With Ronaldo having already signaled his intention to leave Saudi club Al-Nassr this summer, Yorke believes the Portuguese superstar would be a valuable addition to the Blues’ squad.
“Yeah, why would you not? He [Ronaldo] can still do it. With his ambition and ability, if Chelsea are playing the way that they can and creating for him, he is still an incredible forward. I see no reason not to,” Yorke told Gamblingindustrynews (via GOAL).
“He is better than what Chelsea have currently got up front there. I can tell you that they’re not the greatest team in that number nine position.”
Ronaldo’s illustrious career has seen him star for some of the world’s biggest clubs, including Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid, showcasing his ability to adapt and deliver consistently.
