Dortmund knocks out PSG, books place in UCL final
Borussia Dortmund completed its task as Edin Terzic’s men did their part against Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal on Tuesday, May 7.
Terzic’s men had a complete performance, nullifying world class forward Kylian Mbappe, while making sure that other PSG key players did not get the space to hurt them.
PSG is not out of the competition for a lack of trying though, as Enrique’s men created many great goal scoring chances against the men in yellow, even hitting the frame of the goal four times in the game.
PSG created five clear cut chances, but could not convert any of them.
Dortmund took the lead in the 50th minute, further complicating things for the residents of Parc des Princes.
This will be Dortmund’s first UCL final appearance in 11 years, since Jurgen Klopp last took the German club to the final in 2013, though losing to Bayern Munich.
