With the new Premier League campaign kicking off on Friday night—Liverpool hosting Bournemouth at Anfield—Bent shared his outlook for the season during an interview featured on the Premier League’s official website.
When asked which team he expects to win the league, Bent responded confidently: “Liverpool.”
Explaining his choice, the retired England international said, “They have recruited really well. They were the best team last year and have got even better.”
