Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze was deployed in a new position during AC Milan’s first training session under newly appointed manager Ruben Amorim.
Chukwueze featured on the right side of a four-man midfield, operating in a wing-back role as Amorim began implementing his tactical system at the club.
The position is similar to the role Amad Diallo played under Amorim during his time at Manchester United.
The Nigerian international spent last season on loan at Fulham, where he scored three goals and provided four assists in 25 appearances.
With Amorim now in charge at the San Siro, Chukwueze has been handed another opportunity to establish himself in the squad.
The 27-year-old is expected to adapt quickly to his new role as he looks to earn the confidence of the Portuguese manager ahead of the new season.
