Blaqbonez reacts to controversial decision to shut down porn sites

On Wednesday, March 12, Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez spoke out about the recent decision by the House of Representatives to shut down all pornographic websites in Nigeria.
As reported earlier, on Tuesday, the House of Representatives instructed the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the country’s telecom regulator, to block access to all pornographic websites.
Blaqbonez, known for his bold opinions, took to X to share his thoughts on the matter. He suggested that the shutdown was a sign of misplaced priorities.
“This country is funny. Destiny Mira, who helps us through tough times, and they want to ban her,” Blaqbonez wrote, referencing the popular adult film star Destiny Mira as an example of someone who “helps” people during hard moments.
