Boniface names three toughest defenders he’s faced in his career
Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has identified the three toughest defenders he has encountered throughout his career, all of whom play in the Bundesliga, where he currently represents Bayer Leverkusen.
In a recent statement, Boniface listed Dayot Upamecano, Jonathan Tah, and Kim Min-Jae as the most challenging opponents he has faced.
The 23-year-old has made a significant impact in his league, registering 27 goals and 11 assists in 43 appearances, contributing to his team’s performance against prominent clubs such as AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, and RB Leipzig.
Despite competing against various defenders, Boniface emphasized that Bayern Munich’s Upamecano and Min-Jae, along with his Leverkusen teammate Tah, stood out as the toughest he has encountered on the pitch.
