Woman scammed by Bolanle Ninalowo impersonator
Nigerian actor Bolanle Ninalowo has responded after a woman named Victoria Ayano was reportedly scammed out of N33 million by someone pretending to be him.
Victoria filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) accusing Bolanle Azeez of posing as the actor to defraud her.
Actor expresses disbelief over huge sum
Sharing the petition on Instagram, Ninalowo reacted with disbelief, asking:
“Which kine juju be this naa?”
He also joked about the amount involved, saying:
“This one loud ooo. N33,000,000 for wetin? Even Nollywood wey blow me never pay me N33 million per film.”
Impersonation is an ongoing battle
This is not the first time someone has impersonated the actor. In 2023, a man was sentenced to prison for doing the same.
In March 2025, Ninalowo publicly voiced his frustration about multiple fake accounts on TikTok and other platforms, which were created to scam people using his name.
