The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the passing of Isaiah Edegbo, a respected senior staff member at its National Secretariat. Edegbo died on Monday, October 28, in Abuja, at the age of 48.
According to a statement from the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, Edegbo served as a Deputy Director in the Organization Department.
He hailed from Kogi State and had a distinguished academic background, having attended Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, where he earned a Diploma in Civil Law in 1997, an LL.B (Hons) in 2003, and an LL.M in Public Law in 2016. He was also in the process of completing his PhD in Commercial Law.
Despite his legal training, Edegbo was widely recognized for his brilliance, thoroughness, and reliability. He made significant contributions to the party’s successful congresses, conventions, and election activities.
Morka expressed that Edegbo will be deeply missed by the party and all who knew him.
