Former Chelsea defender scores to complete Barca comeback win over PSG

FC Barcelona beat Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter final draw.

The match was played on Wednesday, April 10, at the Parc des Princes.

PSG had stars like Kylian Mbappe, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marquinhos, Marco Asensio and Ousmane Dembele in the starting lineup.

Barcelona saw the inclusion of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Frenkie De Jong and youngster Lamine Yamal.

Barcelona, the away side, actually took the lead in the 37th minute through a Raphinha goal, but PSG fought back to equalize in the 48th minute through a Dembele strike.

PSG then went on to take the lead only two minutes after their equalizer through Vitinha. Barcelona did not stay down though, as Raphinha scored again in the 62nd minute to tie the game for the second time on the night.

Substitute Andreas Christensen eventually decided the game as he headed home a corner to make it 3-2, handing the lead – and the win – to Xavi’s men.

This win makes Barcelona the favorite to reach the semi final, as the second leg will be played at Barcelona’s home ground next week.
