Four hundred Nigerians, including 90 women and 310 men, were sent back from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) shared the news.

When they arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, they were met by officials from the National Security Adviser’s office, the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and other important groups.

103 Nigerians who were sent back from Turkey were also welcomed by NEMA and other groups at the Abuja airport.

Much earlier, on Monday, November 13, 2023, 264 Nigerians found out that their visas were canceled when they landed at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
