Toulouse, Werder Bremen in intense battle for Emmanuel Dennis

Toulouse and Werder Bremen are currently competing for the signature of Nottingham Forest forward Emmanuel Dennis, with the Nigerian international eager to leave the City Ground before the winter transfer window closes.
Dennis, 27, has yet to feature for Forest this season and is desperate for a move, but his hefty salary of €4.8 million per year (approximately €400,000 per month) has made potential suitors wary. Despite his desire to leave, this significant wage is proving to be a stumbling block in negotiations.
Forest, who signed Dennis from Watford for €15 million in 2022, are also hoping to recoup some of that investment in any potential transfer deal. The club’s stance on his price has further complicated the situation, with several clubs showing interest but hesitant about the financial commitment.
Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday have also been linked with the former Club Brugge player, but as of now, the French side Toulouse and Bundesliga club Werder Bremen are leading the race for his signature. Dennis’s next move remains uncertain, but with the deadline looming, it’s expected that the situation will resolve soon.
