President Bola Tinubu has promoted Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, a close ally, to the position of Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
Masari was previously appointed in 2023 as Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs.
Prior to his federal appointment, the Katsina-born politician served as the welfare secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the tenure of former party chairman, Senator Adams Oshiomhole.
In his new role, Masari will work alongside Alhaji Yau Darazo, who was appointed Special Adviser on Political Affairs by President Tinubu in July 2023.
