Tinubu mourns former Plateau military administrator, Col Mohammed Mana

President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to the family, friends, and associates of Col. Mohammed Mana (retd), a former military administrator of Plateau State and onetime senator, who died in the early hours of Saturday in Abuja.

Mana, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), represented Adamawa North in the Senate between 2007 and 2011. Until his death, he served as chairman of the APC Reconciliation Committee in Adamawa.

In a statement, President Tinubu described the late Mana as a “distinguished patriot and officer gentleman” who devoted himself to the service of Nigeria both in and out of uniform.

The President praised Mana’s commitment to the common good and a better society, noting that his leadership and counsel would be greatly missed.

Tinubu also commiserated with the people and government of Adamawa State as well as members of the APC family in the state, who, he said, benefited from Mana’s wisdom and guidance.
