Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo recently voiced her frustration on social media regarding the pervasive negativity and jealousy within the entertainment industry.
Her sentiments emerged following a public inquiry initiated by fellow actress Uche Elendu. Elendu’s inquiry sparked conversations about societal perceptions surrounding marriage and single parenthood. Specifically, Elendu asked parents if they would support their well-educated sons marrying single mothers.

She lamented the darkness that she believes engulfs the industry due to the presence of “vile, envious, and evil” individuals.
Uche Ogbodo urged her peers to adopt a more positive and supportive approach towards one another.
She emphasized the importance of celebrating others’ successes and offering prayers for one’s own blessings.
She expressed her disappointment at the lack of goodwill and congratulatory spirit among industry members, emphasizing that mutual support and positivity could lead to personal growth and prosperity for all.
