Temi Otedola calls Mr Eazi’s malice childish

Popular actress Temi Otedola has opened up about the communication style of her husband, Nigerian singer Mr Eazi. In a recent episode of their joint podcast, she revealed that the singer often prefers keeping malice or sending long messages instead of confronting her face-to-face.
Temi described the habit as “a bit childish,” especially when they are both present in the same apartment. She recalled a specific Monday morning when she discovered her husband was upset only after receiving a lengthy email from him.
Communication breakdown within the same flat
The actress shared her frustration, noting that she had asked him several times if something was wrong, only to be told everything was fine. She was shocked to receive a detailed list of his grievances via email while they were sitting just a few meters apart.
“Honestly, if you’re in the same flat as someone, do I think it is a bit childish to not go up and speak to them? Yes,” she expressed. She admitted that reading the long message made her body feel hot with anger because he wouldn’t just sit down and talk.
Mr Eazi defends his preference for typing
Responding to the criticism, Mr Eazi admitted that he feels more comfortable expressing his deep emotions through writing. He explained that face-to-face dialogues often make him feel like he is not “hitting the nail on the head” or being too harsh.
The singer argued that typing allows him to read his words again and crosscheck his tone before sending them. “For me, it’s typing. When I want to really express myself, I can do it via typing better than speaking,” he maintained.
