John Terry blasts referee Mark Clattenburg after chaotic six-a-side match

Former Chelsea captain and legendary defender John Terry has launched a scathing attack on former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg following a fiery encounter in the UK Baller League.
Terry, who now manages the 26ers in the indoor six-a-side tournament, was visibly frustrated after a contentious match against FC RTW, which ended in a 3-3 draw. The heated fixture saw a reckless challenge on one of Terry’s players, leading to a scuffle on the pitch that required both teams to be separated.
Clattenburg, officiating the game, handed out a two-minute suspension to the offending player, a decision that left Terry seething. Captured on camera, Terry was heard shouting at Clattenburg, “There’s no f*****g point, I’ve got to do your job for you.”
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Terry didn’t hold back his criticism of the refereeing. “For me, the refs are awful. The refs are terrible, they need to take some responsibility because two of my players are trying to break up fights on the pitch after diabolical tackles,” he said. “I don’t want to be that person coming on, the players have got to do better, but the refs have got to take responsibility.”
Terry, who enjoyed a 20-year career at Chelsea, winning five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, and the Champions League, has long been known for his leadership on the pitch. His comments reflect his frustration with what he perceives as a lack of accountability from referees in both professional and amateur football.
Despite his managerial role, it seems Terry’s passion for the game and his desire for fairness on the field remain as intense as ever.
