Soludo hosts Evangelist Ebuka Obi, commends Zion ministry’s charity projects

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has commended Evangelist Ebuka Obi of Zion Ministry for championing charitable initiatives, including the construction of a free psychiatric hospital and an old people’s home in Aguleri.

The governor disclosed this on Saturday through a post on his official X handle, where he shared a video of Obi’s visit to the Government House in Awka on Friday. Soludo described the projects, executed by the Seraphic Foundation — the charity arm of Zion Ministry — as a true reflection of Christian values.

“Evangelist Ebuka Obi has demonstrated the true essence of Christianity by this very act,” Soludo said, adding that his administration looks forward to collaborating with the ministry to support the poor and vulnerable across the state.

The governor, who earlier commissioned the new facilities, stressed the importance of service to humanity, saying: “While on earth, we must do the work of God. May Anambra continue to win.”

In a brief remark during the visit, Obi lauded the aesthetics of the newly constructed Government House, describing it as the most beautiful edifice he had ever seen.
