Rema and Seun Kuti to perform at Coachella 2025
The lineup for the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been revealed, with Nigerian stars Rema and Seun Kuti set to perform at the iconic three-day event. Known as one of the world’s most prominent music festivals, Coachella attracts thousands of attendees to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, each year.
Rema, who will be making his Coachella debut, joins the roster after a groundbreaking year in the United States, where he set records for the most-streamed song and the highest-charting track by a Nigerian artist. Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat veteran, will make his third appearance at the festival, solidifying his record as the Nigerian artist with the most Coachella performances. Kuti first performed at the festival in 2012, becoming the first Nigerian to grace its stage.
The 2025 Coachella festival, scheduled to run from April 11 to April 20, will feature headline acts Lady Gaga, Post Malone, and Travis Scott. Other Nigerian artists who have previously performed at Coachella include Burna Boy, Tems, Fireboy DML, CKay, and Spinall.
Tems notably performed at the 2024 edition, where she was joined by Wizkid and Justin Bieber for their chart-topping collaboration, Essence (Remix). This year’s lineup continues to showcase Nigeria’s growing influence on the global music stage.
