Regina Daniels replies Emeka Rollas, says something is wrong with him

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has issued a scathing response to the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, after he publicly suggested that she “needs help” amid her messy separation from her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Daniels vehemently denied the claim, stating in an Instagram story post: “Respectfully, there must be something wrong with you, sir, to say I need help?”

Context of the dispute

The public feud between the actress and the AGN President escalated after Rollas posted a lengthy message on Instagram on Thursday. Rollas’s post was primarily directed at Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, urging her to focus on her daughter’s health and alleged need for help, rather than contesting the AGN presidency.

Rollas had also called out Nollywood veterans for their silence regarding the ongoing breakup between Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko, publicly stating, “Regarding Regina, we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair.”

The family drama recently spilled into the public sphere after Regina Daniels shared a viral video accusing her husband of domestic violence. Senator Nwoko countered the claim by publicly accusing her of drug abuse, a claim that has been widely reported.

Regina Daniels accuses AGN President of misconduct

In her fierce rebuttal, Regina Daniels went further than simply denying the need for help. She leveled serious accusations of financial misconduct and personal indiscretions against the AGN President.

She accused Rollas of ingratitude and described him as:

  • “a disgrace of a president” who allegedly enriches his own pocket under the guise of caring for actors’ wellbeing.

  • Someone who “just visits one office to another,” suggesting a lack of focus on his guild responsibilities.

Daniels then brought up a personal incident, accusing Rollas of inappropriate behavior at her family home: “Well, I’m not shocked because that is how you get paid—bringing women to my family home several times to take swimming lessons, which I warned you about—hence your bitterness.”

The exchange further exposes the deep rifts and intense personal conflicts currently plaguing the Nollywood industry leadership, intertwining personal family matters with professional accusations of corruption and misconduct.
