Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has hinted at plans to divorce her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, amid reports of a growing marital crisis between the couple.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Daniels wrote, “I have a roof over my head and the next is divorce,” shortly after sharing photos of her newly acquired house.
Her post came shortly after Nwoko publicly defended his polygamous lifestyle, stating that he felt sorry for men who had only one wife.
“Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg; you know how difficult it is. But it is much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four,” Nwoko said in an interview with Channels TV.
Nwoko, who is married to four women including Regina Daniels, said he had no regrets about his marital decisions and would make similar choices again if given the chance.
The couple’s relationship reportedly became strained following a viral video in which Daniels accused Nwoko of domestic violence. Nwoko has since denied the allegation, insisting that he respects and loves his wives and children.
Neither party has issued an official statement on whether a formal separation process has begun.
