Real Madrid watches Trent Alexander-Arnold contract situation closely

Real Madrid is reportedly monitoring the contract situation of Liverpool vice-captain and right back Trent Alexander-Arnold as the club is yet to start contract talks.

Alexander-Arnold’s current contract was signed in 2021 and expires in 2025.

Liverpool has shown no signing of wanting to sell the defender at this stage.

The right back joined the senior team in 2016 having graduated from the academy. He has been instrumental to the club winning every available trophy in club football, even winning the FA Cup and League Cup in the 2021-22 season with the Reds.

Liverpool is aware that he has one year left on his contract, and they are likely working on a package that includes a pay raise.

Real Madrid, for their part, would not pass up an opportunity to tempt the passing maestro to Los Blancos, as Daniel Carvajal, the current starting right back for the galacticos is already 32-years-old and will soon start preparing for retirement.
