Obi makes low-key stop in Ghana, meets ADC’s Dele Momodu
Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was hosted on Wednesday morning by African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain, Dele Momodu, in Accra, Ghana.
Momodu shared the visit on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, revealing that he welcomed Obi to the Ghanaian capital before taking him home for breakfast.
“Earlier this morning, I welcomed the former Labour Party Presidential candidate and former Anambra State Governor, His Excellency PETER OBI, to the beautiful city of Accra, Ghana, and we headed to my home for breakfast,” he posted.

Obi keeps busy with high-level meetings
Peter Obi, who contested Nigeria’s 2023 presidential election under the Labour Party, continues to be an active political figure. He frequently meets with political leaders, business executives, and members of the Nigerian diaspora—both at home and abroad.
Just this past Sunday, Obi held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo. On the same day, he also visited the new Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rasheed Ladoja, in Oyo State.
