NNPC increases petrol price in Abuja by 15%
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has announced a significant increase in the pump price of petrol in Abuja, raising it by 14.8% to N1,030 per litre from the previous price of N897.
This marks the second petrol price hike in just a month, following an earlier increase in September when the price rose from N615 per litre to N897.
During a visit to the NNPC Retail mega station in Abuja, many motorists expressed their shock and frustration over the ongoing economic difficulties.
Taxi driver Usman Abah shared his feelings, stating, “It’s beyond belief. I have been in the queue for almost an hour and I didn’t know they had increased the price. Tinubu is not concerned about our suffering.”
