Vinicius Jr. rejects Real Madrid’s contract offer amid Saudi interest

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has reportedly turned down a contract renewal offer from the LaLiga giants, according to The Sun.

Vinicius, 24, currently has a release clause of approximately £830 million in his existing contract with Madrid, which runs until 2027. Despite earning £12.5 million per year at the club, his rejection of the initial renewal offer has raised questions about his long-term future at the Bernabéu.

The Brazilian forward has attracted significant interest from several Saudi Pro League clubs, with talks between his representatives and Saudi officials reportedly taking place in December after an initial inquiry last summer.

In response to the growing interest, Real Madrid entered negotiations to secure Vinicius on a new long-term deal. However, the club has made it clear that they are not willing to break their wage structure to finalize an agreement.
