Man City to face lengthy wait for punishment if found guilty of 115 charges

Manchester City could face a long wait to learn their punishment if found guilty of breaching financial fair play (FFP) regulations, with a verdict in their case expected soon.
The Premier League champions have strongly denied all 115 charges brought against them, which relate to alleged breaches of FFP rules. An independent panel is set to deliver a verdict this spring, more than two years after City were initially charged.
However, if the club is found guilty of any charges, the punishment will not be decided immediately. Instead, a separate process will determine what sanctions are imposed, and both Manchester City and the Premier League will have the right to appeal the decision.
According to the Financial Times, potential punishments could include significant points deductions, a transfer ban, or even expulsion from the Premier League, depending on the severity of the violations.
