Lagos APC denies reports of stranded delegates at national convention

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied reports claiming that its delegates were left stranded during the party’s national convention in Abuja, describing the allegations as false and misleading.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the party’s spokesman, Seye Oladejo, urged the public to disregard claims that Lagos delegates experienced logistical challenges due to the non-release of mobilisation funds.
Oladejo stated that all accredited delegates from Lagos were transported to the convention in a well-coordinated manner, with adequate arrangements made for their comfort throughout the trip.
He added that upon arrival in Abuja, the delegates were provided with proper accommodation, contrary to reports circulating in some quarters.
The spokesman also clarified that the Lagos State Government does not fund party activities, noting that the APC independently handles its logistics and operations through its internal structures.
He further advised the public to rely on verified information and avoid spreading unconfirmed reports.
The Lagos APC reaffirmed its commitment to party unity and its continued support for governance efforts at both the state and federal levels.
