Kada Warriors unveil new management team

The Kaduna State government has appointed a new management team for Nigeria National League (NNL) side Kada Warriors, with the aim of revamping the club’s fortunes in the second half of the season.

The new leadership team will be headed by Sadiq Mamman, who will serve as the club’s chairman. Former Super Eagles defender, Garba Lawal, has been appointed as the club’s General Manager, bringing a wealth of experience from his playing days and involvement in Nigerian football.

In a bid to strengthen the squad’s technical bench, Danlami Umar Kwasau has been appointed as the Chief Coach, with Yinka Salihu and Lawal Muhammad taking on roles as assistant coaches. Additionally, ex-Sunshine Stars goalkeeper, Danladi Isah, and Iliyasu Ozigi will serve as the club’s goalkeeping coaches.

The new management team also includes several other important staff members: Ibrahim M. Lagos, Saidu Dibis, Muhammad Baba, Labaran Hassan, Jibrin H. Haramaini, Bala Abdulkarim, Ahmadu Shuaibu, Zakari Isah Haruna, Teryima Sunday Tersoo, Abubakar Ya’u, and Lawal Umar.

Kada Warriors finished the first stanza of the NNL season in sixth place with six points from six matches. The appointment of the new management team is expected to provide a fresh direction as the club looks to improve its performance in the upcoming matches.
