IPAC chairman demands apology from Atiku over bribery allegations

Yusuf Dantalle, the National Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), has called on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to apologize to opposition leaders over allegations that they are receiving funds from the ruling party.

Atiku recently claimed that the Federal Government was paying N50 million to some opposition members to destabilize their parties. However, Dantalle dismissed the allegation, insisting that the opposition leaders deserve an apology for what he described as a baseless accusation.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday, the IPAC chairman criticized Atiku for making such claims without providing evidence, adding that the remarks were damaging to the credibility of opposition parties in Nigeria.

Dantalle’s statement comes amid growing tensions within the opposition, with leaders calling for unity and focus rather than internal conflicts and accusations. It remains to be seen whether Atiku will respond to the demand for an apology.
