Popular Nigerian content creator Gilmore has shared his thoughts on how content creators support each other more than musicians do.
In a recent interview with Hip TV, Gilmore explained that this support is one of the main reasons why Nigerian content creators have been so successful. He also pointed out that social media plays a big role in their success, as more people watch content on their phones than on TV these days.
Gilmore said, “Content creators are more successful because the industry is more supportive than the music industry. This is 2024, and everybody is on their phone now. People don’t watch TV like they used to. You can actually make money from social media.”
He also shared that Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr is his ideal woman, and Niniola was his childhood crush.
