In a sad event at Akoko Anglican Grammar School in Arigidi, Ondo State, a Senior Secondary School student named Habib Salau has reportedly been stabbed to death by a fellow student.
Sources say that the incident occurred during a scuffle after school hours involving Habib and a female classmate named Sandra. An eyewitness explained that during their fight, Sandra used a knife, resulting in Habib’s tragic death.
The body of the deceased has been taken to the mortuary at the Specialist Hospital in Ikare. Attempts to reach the school principal for a comment were unsuccessful, but one teacher described the situation as tragic, noting that it has caused a lot of fear among the students.
Many students have been seen gathering in groups, discussing the incident.
Funmi Odunlami, the spokesperson for the state police, confirmed the event and mentioned that the case has been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for a thorough investigation. She assured that the police would work to uncover all the details surrounding this unfortunate incident.
