Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has praised the demanding nature of their new manager, Ruben Amorim, following the team’s 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town in the Premier League over the weekend.
The match marked Amorim’s first game in charge of the Red Devils, after replacing Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Dalot, speaking about the Portuguese manager, expressed confidence that Amorim is the right fit for Manchester United at this crucial moment. “Rúben Amorim is exactly what we need for this type of club,” Dalot said, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
“He’s very demanding. That’s the standard the club should have, by demanding people are really professional and working hard for the team. That’s the clear message that he gives us every day.”
