David Luiz denies cheating, threesome claims from Brazilian woman

Ex-Arsenal star says accuser sent unsolicited intimate photos
Brazilian footballer David Luiz has responded to allegations of cheating and soliciting a threesome, made by a woman named Karol Cavalcante. The former Arsenal, Chelsea, and PSG defender, who shares two children with his partner Bruna Loureiro, has denied the claims.
Karol alleged in an interview with Brazilian journalist Leo Dias that she and Luiz had been exchanging flirty messages on Instagram — often in vanish mode — and that Luiz proposed a threesome with one of her friends.
“He even suggested doing a threesome with my friend, but I didn’t want to get involved in it… I started to realize that he had a bit of an aggressive attitude,” she said, as reported by O Jogo.
Luiz says contact was minimal and never physical
In a statement released through his agency, ALOB Sports, David Luiz dismissed the allegations, claiming Karol initiated contact by sending him explicit images.
“Before any interaction, the player received intimate images of the person mentioned at different times in order to arouse the athlete’s attention,” the statement read.
The agency further stated that Luiz only engaged briefly in messaging and that no physical meeting ever occurred between the two.
“David Luiz reiterates his commitment to the truth and trusts that the facts will be properly clarified.”
Public reaction remains divided
The story has sparked mixed reactions online. Some fans have called for privacy and patience as the issue unfolds, while others criticized both Luiz and his accuser for allowing the situation to escalate publicly.
Luiz, 38, has not personally addressed the media beyond the agency’s statement and remains with his long-time partner, Bruna Loureiro, as speculation swirls.
