Can Arsenal find the goods needed to dump out Bayern?

Arsenal travels to the Allianz Arena tonight to face Bayern Munich in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie.

Arsenal is coming off a stinging loss to Aston Villa at the weekend that threatened to derail Mikel Arteta’s Premier League title hopes.

For Bayern, the UCL is the only competition Thomas Tuchel has any hope of winning now, having been knocked out of the cup earlier on in the season. Leverkusen was also confirmed Bundesliga champions on Sunday, April 14.

Harry Kane has come under immense pressure, as his arrival at Bayern has coincided with its not winning the league for the first time in 12 years. The England captain will want to imprint himself on the game against his long standing rival Arsenal.

Tuchel also wants to get into the semifinal as UCL is the only competition left this season he can win, though the club has already announced that he will be leaving at the end of the season.

Arsenal is the visiting side and that put Arteta’s men at a disadvantage, but can they  show the resilience needed to stave off the goal machine that is Bayern?
