Burnley snatches point after outrageous creative display from Bruno Fernandes

Burnley miraculously walked away from the clash against Manchester United with a point after winning a penalty in the 85th minute from an Andre Onana error.

Man United had pounded Burnley’s goal throughout the game, but Red Devils forwards Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Rasmus Hojlund failed to convert several chances.

The first goal of the game didn’t come until the 79th minute when Antony pounced on a Burnley error and slotted it past Arijanet Muric.

Bruno Fernandes, for the second consecutive league game and third consecutive game in all competitions, created nine chances in a single game, equaling the record he set in the last game.

Fernandes also created four big chances against Burnley, but got no assists on the day. In fact, Fernandes created four out of six big chances Man United got against Vincent Kompany’s men.

Man United has lost ground again in the bid to reach fifth place, as Erik ten Hag’s men are now 6 points behind 5th place Spurs despite playing more games and Spurs losing yesterday in the North London Derby.
