A gang of bandits in the early hours of Tuesday, May 7, invaded Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, kidnapping the manager of Taj Bank, Gusau branch, Mallam Mansur Kaura at his residence.
DAILY POST gathered that the bandits stormed the banker’s residence at about 12:30 am and kidnapped him.
It was gathered that the terrorists came with sophisticated weapons and shot sporadically to scare residents before proceeding to the residence of the manager to abduct him.
The bandits also terrorized some areas like Mareri, Damba, Tsauni, and Samaru within the state capital before their escape.
No official statement has been released by the security authorities over the latest bandits’ attack.
