Leadership clash rocks Kebbi ADC
The African Democratic Party (ADC) in Kebbi State has dropped a political bombshell — suspending its chairman, Sufiyanu Bala, his deputy, Junaidu Muhammed Mudi, and secretary, Hauwa Muhammed.
The announcement came Tuesday from the party’s publicity secretary, Jamilu Muhammed, during a press briefing in Birnin Kebbi.
Accusations of ‘solo decisions’ and political takeover
Muhammed accused the suspended leaders of running the show without input from the party’s executives. He also claimed they opened the doors for “Abuja nomadic politicians” to take over the party — something the founding members are pushing back against.
‘Abuja politicians won’t dominate us’
“We have decided to suspend Bala, his deputy, and the secretary with immediate effect,” Muhammed said. “We will not, after building the party to this level, allow Abuja politicians to dominate it.”
Decision made by long-time loyalists
According to Muhammed, the suspension was agreed upon during an extraordinary meeting of ADC Kebbi stakeholders and members who’ve been committed to the party long before “Abuja impostors” arrived.
