The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the immediate expulsion of several high-profile members, including Hon. Leke Abejide and Nafiu Bala Gombe. The party leadership took this decisive action following a National Convention held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in Abuja.
National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, issued a statement on Wednesday confirming that the members violated the party’s constitution and disciplinary code. Delegates at the convention ratified the motion to protect the values and internal framework of the political organization.

The party’s National Chairman, David Mark, presided over the convention where the resolution received overwhelming support from the present delegates. According to the party, the affected individuals engaged in acts deemed inconsistent with the democratic principles of the organization.
The list of expelled members includes Kingsley Temitope Ogga, Don Norman Obinna, Kennedy Odion, and several others. The party clarified that these individuals cease to be members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with immediate effect.
