Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer, has admitted he wanted Manchester City to win the Premier League title in the 2023/24 season.
Palmer only left the Etihad to sign for the Blues last summer.
However, Chelsea failed to challenge for the title, which was a three-way battle between City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Pep Guardiola’s men ended up winning the title for a record fourth year in a row, finishing two points ahead of Arsenal.
“I was hoping Man City would win the title as I have got a lot of friends there, so I’m glad that they did it,” Palmer said.
“But there’s no regrets at all for the decision I took.”
