Woli Arole tells Christians to fund their own ‘godly’ TV show and stop whining
Nigerian comedian Woli Arole has taken aim at Christians who frequently criticize the popular reality TV show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).
Following the premiere of BBNaija Season 9 on Sunday, July 28, which stirred discontent among many social media users, Arole decided he had had enough.
In a post on his Instagram page on Monday, July 29, Arole called out Christians for labeling the show as ‘ungodly’ and urged them to create their own ‘godly’ reality TV shows rather than merely complaining. He highlighted that there are numerous Christian billionaires who could support such ventures.
“Nobody should complain about BBNaija. Do your own godly reality TV show! If you do not sponsor them, you can’t tell them how they should behave. There are Christian billionaires who can fund godly TV shows. Period,” he stated.
